Here are a few (okay, a lot) of my favorite looks from Marc Jacob's brilliantly styled, and hedonistically nostalgic, Fall '09 collection of the 80's greatest hits. Fearlessly padded shoulders, boldly pigmented hooded capes, glistening silver, and leather party dresses, high-waisted, saturated, not so mom-ish pleated denim, floral brocade and sheer showpieces, whimsically full skirts, and glimpses of sequins were grounded by quirky, neutral separates, opaque legs, and platform ankle boots. This collection is extremely covetable, and luckily, completely do-able via vintage finds, a good tailor, and clever styling. Never say never.
